Danish Industry puts members' needs first

New digital platform creates a unified space for delivering relevant and inspiring information to support DI members' needs.

The challenge

The previous di.dk faced multiple challenges, with a technically outdated platform. To address this, Dansk Industri (DI) decided to develop a new content platform.

The goal was to strengthen DI’s brand as a cohesive and modern organization while putting members and user groups at the center. The platform needed to provide relevant and inspiring content and offer a clear overview of DI’s services, including memberships, advisory services, courses, and conferences.

Additionally, the new solution had to be simple, responsive, and seamlessly integrated with social media.

The solution

The new platform was built on Optimizely Content Cloud, integrating multiple elements into a unified digital experience.

Behind the solution

The solution is built around five overarching universes, each gathering information and knowledge tailored to users' needs — from the CEO with a strategic outlook to the HR manager needing advice on employment law.
A key objective has been to create a more efficient and intuitive tool for the large editorial team responsible for delivering content to di.dk. This requires the solution to strongly support governed content governance.

DI's official feeds from Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn are integrated into the solution, opening up new ways to create timeliness.

Likewise, all content on di.dk can easily be shared via social channels by users, helping to create visibility around DI's content.

The next phase of the rollout is support for DI's many industry communities and member associations. Each industry community has its own visual identity, and with the multi-site and template capabilities of the Optimizely Content Cloud platform, we have easily been able to create a digital solution that supports each community's need for its own identity — while still being based on the shared platform, with a focus on component reuse.

The result

A key success criterion was quickly launching new campaign sites and landing pages that could stand out visually from the rest of DI.

With built-in multi-site capabilities, template-based design, and reusable content components, DI can now create and customize targeted digital experiences with ease.

Together with Immeo, we have achieved our ambitions for the new di.dk. We have created a unified digital universe that is easier to navigate, more relevant, and tailored to our members' needs.
